Easy Video Ads: a collection of video ad formats for everyone

With the introduction of Easy Rich Media, it has become a more accessible for many to make well-known formats such as the Mobile interscroller, Mobile swipecube or APTO. And now five video formats have been added that you can easily create and with that you will quickly generate a 30% higher viewability than the same formats without video (benchmark S1 2021).

30% of all Rich Media advertisements now use video and now that more and more video is being produced in all kinds of forms, it is logical that this share continues to grow. Because reach on TV is decreasing (GRPs), there is a great chance on online channels to achieve the objectives there. Cross-media research by GFK GXL Dam shows that purchasing 25 extra GRPs, in the shape of 3 million impressions, on the channels of DPG Media, Mediahuis and Heart would lead to an added reach of 3 times higher than 25 extra TV GRPs.

To meet the advertiser's demand for good video banners and to be able to sell better mobile inventory for publishers in particular through video, the following video formats are now available as templates and soon also in the Easy Rich Media builder.

  • In-banner video: 970x250, 300x250, 300x600
  • Mobile inline video: 16-9 en 9-16 vertical

The in-banner video templates are suitable for standard video 16-9 and can run cross-device as they are retina proof. View an example here via the previewer.

The inline video formats are specially made for mobile and, just like the Mobile Portrait Video, have an edge-to-edge video experience, making everything much easier to see and read.
